UWF’s online Engineering Professional Undergraduate Certificate program requires the completion of 9 credit hours and includes two certification exam preparation courses.

Covers the topics necessary to pass the Certified Solidworks Professional Exam.

Review of all areas of the Fundamentals of Engineering - Mechanical Exam. This course will prepare students to pass the exam.
- EGN 4965 - Fundamentals of Engineering Exam Preparation for Electrical and Computer Engineering Major
3 Credit Hours
Fundamentals of Engineering Exam Preparation for Electrical and Computer Engineering Major
This course is designed to help prepare ECE senior students to take the FE exam, which is the first step in becoming a professional engineer. Course content will include review of relevant math, science, engineering economy, and ethics topics as well as fundamental concepts from the ECE engineering program including from such areas as circuits, electronics, controls, communications, electromagnetics, etc.

Admission Requirements
To be considered for admission to UWF’s online Engineering Professional Undergraduate Certificate program, you must be admitted to the University as a non-degree-seeking student and have 90 hours of coursework in engineering or a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
How to Apply
To apply for admission to this program, you first need to submit an application for admission to the University of West Florida. In addition, you must:
- Submit an undergraduate non-degree-seeking application.
- Once accepted as a non-degree-seeking student, students should contact the appropriate advisor for course availability and scheduling.
- Complete the online undergraduate certificate declaration form on MyUWF.
